Happyyyyy Friday (and first day of June), Neviewers! 🎉 Is it just me, or has this week flown by? I could have sworn it was just Monday. Anywho, I’ll be focusing on body masks from the Sephora Collection today. They offer various masks from the typical face mask to something as unique as a lip mask. So far, I’ve tried their face mask and eye mask- I would love to try one of their nose or lip masks! For this post, I wanted to review something I had never tried before, which is why I chose these two. I’ve never tried a hand or foot mask, mostly because I thought it was unnecessary and a waste of money. Read along to see my thoughts on these masks 👀
📋 The break-down
🧦 Lavender Foot Mask- I bought this online from the Sephora website- there is also an Almond foot mask for comforting & repairing available.
I was most intrigued by this foot mask- I had no idea what to expect. All I knew was that this foot mask was for refreshing & relaxing. The great thing about this collection is they always supply clear, and precise directions so you really can’t go wrong. First, I opened this up and gently ripped apart the left and right sock. I peeled the paper-film off of the tab, folded it around my ankle, and pressed it down (as you can see in the picture, it eventually opened up- maybe because I was moving around when I should have been sitting down… whoops!) After leaving them on for a good 20 minutes, I slipped them off and rubbed the excess product into my skin. There was a lot so I rubbed it over my ankles and part of my leg, too! Although it says you don’t need to rinse, I rinsed it a little bit- I think it’s a little too sticky to just leave like that so I washed my foot slightly and put on some lotion afterward. I’m not even exaggerating when I say my feet felt AMAZING. They were so soft and hydrated. It looks like I just got a foot massage or something! ✨
🧤 Argan Hand Mask- I couldn’t find this specific one on the Sephora website, but I have linked their other hand masks (Avocado for nourishing & repairing and Aloe Vera for ultra-moisturizing & beautifying).
I have hands that get dry super fast after moisturizing, so I didn’t expect this mask to make much of a difference. This specific hand mask is meant for anti-aging & evenness. I opened this up, ripped the left glove apart from the right, and slipped them on. If I had to describe these, I would say they were basically disposable gloves filled with formula. Just like the foot mask, I peeled off the paper-film from the tab and folded it around my wrist (don’t forget to press it down to close). I left this on for 15 minutes and would massage the gloves periodically. After taking these off and rubbing in the extra product, I rinsed my hands a little bit and added lotion (just like I did with the foot mask). I didn’t expect this mask to make much of a difference, but boy was I wrong! My hands feel so incredibly smooth and have a hydrated glow to them 💥
I seriously loved these! I cannot get over how soft my hands and feet are- this truly made a noticeable difference. I’m not even kidding when I say that they’re so soft that I keep touching my feet and hands lol! I’m in awe of how smooth and baby soft they feel. I think it’s incredible that within just 15-20 minutes, I was able to notice the effects immediately (you were so right, Sephora). These masks felt like a facial for my hands and feet! My opinion of hand/foot masks being unnecessary was clearly wrong and has certainly changed. With that being said, I am definitely ordering more of these! 😍
